I just love being home!

Look what I did.....with a little help from Mommasita! Its a work in progress, but its the quilt I've been working on with my mom. My family is big into Christmas and ever since we were little we've had homemade Christmas pjs....well this quilt is made from all of our old jammies, plus some Christmas fabric from my Nannie's collection. I love this quilt so much and I can't wait for it to be finished!!

What are your favorite family traditions during the holidays?

  4. WOW! What a great and meaningful quilt! Where I used to love in Oregon, the church we attended, all the older ladies would get together on Wednesday and make quilts for the soliders over in Irag. They would send some crazy number like 100 out every month! The day before shipment they woud fold and hang all those beautifully colored quilts over the church pews and have a prayer session over them and the soliders to where they would find a home. It made you want to cry...This just reminded me of that:)

  6. Oh my goodness gracious! I cannot believe you! I made a quilt- you can see the painfully slow progress on my blog- and yours is so much more impressive. Way To Go You!!

  7. Your blog is so cute! The 30 Day Shred... we have a love/hate relationship. I've done it everyday this week, and it keeps kicking my butt. I don't have a lot of time to workout, so getting an intense workout in 20 minutes is perfect for me. I'm drenched in sweat (I know, TMI) when I'm finished. I took my measurements before I started, and I'm going to take them every 10 days when I switch levels. I'll let you know how it goes!
